About Kal
Kal started his career as a 68A Biomedical Equipment Specialist in the United States Army, where he was trained across every major equipment category — from radiology and ultrasound to patient monitoring and cardiovascular devices. That foundation of precision and accountability has shaped how he approaches every service call.
After the Army, he joined Philips Healthcare’s prestigious Field Engineer Program, where he spent five years specializing in digital and interventional X-ray systems across the Bay Area. He led 50+ new radiology room installations at institutions including Stanford University, UCSF, Kaiser Permanente, and UC Davis, and was mentored directly by Philips National Support Specialists.
He went on to build deep expertise in dental imaging at Henry Schein, enterprise PACS systems at Philips, and senior-level imaging informatics at UT Austin Dell Medical Center. In 2025, he founded Texas Medical Equipment Repair to bring that same enterprise-level service to independent practices across Central Texas — the kind of responsive, honest support that larger OEM providers rarely offer smaller clinics.
